Programs to support stem education

STEMpact was formed on the belief that all students must have access to high-quality STEM education. However, we knew that improving STEM programs in schools would only be one piece of the puzzle. We must undertake a larger initiative to prepare the next generation of highly qualified professionals for measurable change to occur. As a result, STEMpact developed three distinct, data-driven and outcome-focused STEM programs:

STEM TEACher quality initiative

This comprehensive STEM initiative engages teachers in a year-long focused professional development program to increase their STEM know-how and pass that knowledge onto students through integrated STEM curriculum.

metropolitan conversations

Occurring twice throughout the year, St. Louis Metropolitan Conversations bring together educational, business, community and government leaders for conversations about STEM education in the region. This STEM initiative aims to create an ongoing discussion about a broad number of topics with a central goal of regional collaboration.
