November 12 | 3:30-5:00PM| Novel Engineering in the Virtual Elementary Classroom | 3rd-5th Grade Focus
Novel Engineering-where literature meets the engineering design process. This session will engage both the NE beginners, or educators who have tried NE in their classroom and would like to go on to the next level. We will share strategies to take this engaging, content building experience to the virtual classroom. Consider some of the literature you use in your classroom and see how NE can allow your students opportunities to dig deeper into the text. This session is divided into a K-2 focused session on Wednesday-November 11th, and a 3-5 specific session on Thursday-November 12th. REGISTER NOW!
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall workshops will be virtual. You will receive a Zoom link after your registration has been confirmed. Each virtual workshop will run for 90 minutes from 3:30-5:00 pm. The winter workshop location and schedule will be determined later in the fall of 2020.
Through the generous support of STEMpact, the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University, and the Missouri Science and Math Coalition, the STEM Leadership Series is provided at no cost to participants.
