Interested in bringing a stronger STEM mindset and intention to school and classroom practices? STEMpact’s free STEM Leadership Series workshops are ideal for all school and district administrators, principals, coaches, teachers and leaders.
December 2 | 3:30-5:00PM | STEM Thinking & Talking: Developing Confident Learners
In this session we will look at how to encourage, grow, and develop students to be self-identifying, STEM capable learners. We will look through our STEMpact Quality Integration Rubric lens, to see how classroom culture and climate, and teacher talk/moves impacts student accessibility and engagement. We will share strategies which may be utilized in recognizing brilliance in all learners, creating safe environments for questioning, and allowing for meaningful discourse, and constructive feedback. REGISTER NOW! (This and the session on December 3rd are repeating sessions, you need only attend one.)
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall workshops will be virtual. You will receive a Zoom link after your registration has been confirmed. Each virtual workshop will run for 90 minutes from 3:30-5:00 pm. The winter workshop location and schedule will be determined later in the fall of 2020.
Through the generous support of STEMpact, the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University, and the Missouri Science and Math Coalition, the STEM Leadership Series is provided at no cost to participants.
